What can I expect when I hire 3 Wise Men to hang Christmas lights at my home?
We’ve planned our process to be as simple and convenient as possible for our customers. Here’s how our process works.
• CONNECT: It all begins with scheduling your free design consultation. Scheduling a consultation is easy. Call 501-358-5542, message us on Facebook, or request a quote and we will be in touch soon to schedule a time to meet and discuss your exterior lighting needs and any special project that you may have in mind.
• CONSULT: From your first interaction with 3 Wise Men, we want it to be clear this is all about you. During your no-obligation consultation, we will review your property with you and talk about your wants, needs and desires for exterior and landscape illumination that adds beauty, cheer, safety and functionality to your outdoor spaces.
• PRODUCT: As a part of our business structure, we supply commercial-grade Christmas lights. From roof lights to tree lights, we give you the best quality available. These lights will last long and provide you with the best way to achieve your home’s desired holiday look.
• DESIGN: Based on the dialogue from your free consultation, a design proposal and estimate will be presented to you for your consideration – with no surprises.
• INSTALL: This is where 3 Wise Men Holiday Lighting really shines, no pun intended. Our installers are so meticulous that when they leave your property, most likely it will be in better shape than they found it. Highly efficient LED fixtures will be optimally positioned and wires carefully hidden. And onsite cleanup will be done to perfection.
• MAINTAIN: To ensure that your new outdoor lighting system will always perform as well as it did the day that was installed, we include free maintenance/warranty with each year’s service for the season. On new installation of permanent lighting, we cover 12 months of maintenance. For a reasonable fee, you can continue this peace-of-mind coverage annually with our Annual Maintenance Plan.
• REMOVAL: After the season, we will take down your lights as soon as possible after the holidays are over. If you have a preferred date for take-down, you may let us know that date when you book your installation, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Otherwise, we generally have all lights removed by the end of January.
• STORAGE: Once your lights are taken down, we’ll pack them away properly and store them in our dry storage facility. This will leave your basement or garage with more room and less clutter.
How much do you charge for Christmas light hanging?
The total cost of Christmas light installation will depend on the size of your home and the number of lights you want to purchase and have installed. When we agree on a service price via your estimate request, your price will not change. Request a Quote
Is there a standard lead time for Christmas light installation with your company?
As the Christmas season approaches, our calendar fills up quickly. However, no matter how busy we are, we try to be at your home no more than a week after you order our services. Schedule an appointment early for more timely and efficient service. Request a quote now to reserve your appointment.
When do you start installing holiday lights and when do you take them down?
We start installing lights mid October and continue installing the week prior to Christmas day. If you decide to have your lights installed in October, we suggest leaving them off until you are ready to light them up. If you have greenery such as garland and/or wreaths, we will come back in November to install these items. Normally, we start taking down lights shortly after New Year’s Day. If you have a personal preference to have them up longer, we honor that through the end of January.
If I want my holiday lights up around the time of Thanksgiving, when should I schedule an estimate?
The weeks surrounding Thanksgiving are our most requested time of year. For holiday lighting, we perform estimates throughout the entire year and we suggest you schedule an appointment for an estimate by September.
Can I keep my lights up all year?
The lights are yours to do with as you wish. You can certainly keep you lights up all year round. However, we suggest that you invest into permanent lighting if you choose to go this route. These installations are much more extensive and require more time on our schedule, so please contact us as soon as possible. For a reasonable fee, you can also continue our peace-of-mind coverage annually with our Annual Maintenance Plan.
Do you offer a warranty on your services?
Our Christmas light installation is warrantied along with the products that we provide. Should any problems occur during the season, give us a call. We will be out as soon as possible to correct the problem at no charge.
I have my own lights, will you install them?
We typically do not install lights that were not originally purchased from 3 Wise Men Holiday Lighting. We’ve created the best possible program for those who always want the best looking commercial lights without any hassle. There are many reasons – but, the most important is that we are making this process as hassle-free and affordable as possible for you!
Do you provide the holiday lights and decorations or do you install lights I already own?
In order to provide you the best and most convenient service, purchasing commercial grade strands of lights is a part of your initial package from 3 Wise Men. These lights are higher quality and guaranteed to give you a brighter, more consistent display. We provide everything needed for the installation and store the lights for you after take-down to ensure they remain in excellent condition. As an added bonus, and something else to consider, if you would like to use different lights or colors the next season, you have the flexibility to trade in your selections from the previous year back to us without the added cost burden of having to purchase all new lights.
When can I expect lights to be removed?
We begin removal services promptly at the end of the holiday season and typically have all lights removed by the end of January. If you want your lights up past a certain date please let us know when we install your lights. We take-down by neighborhood soon after New Year’s Day.
Is 3 Wise Men Holiday Lighting insured?
As your neighbors, safety and liability is important to us. Yes, 3 Wise Men Holiday Lighting is fully insured for your and our security and safety. We also follow OSHA requirements for all safety matters.
Are these Rental Lights?
Not at this time, these lights are your property to be managed by 3 Wise Men Holiday Lighting. We do this so that you have true custom lighting specific to your home or business.
Do you only do Christmas Lighting?
Actually, 3 Wise Men does a lot more than just Holiday lighting. Outdoor lighting is what we do. We provide deck and patio lighting, landscape lighting, permanent lighting, feature lighting, outdoor wedding and events lighting, and maintenance.
Why is the initial estimate more expensive?
The initial cost is for the purchase of the lights. These lights are custom cut to your home or business and are yours to keep. After the purchase of the lights, the service fee does not change from year to year. All you have to do is contact us to install and take down.
Can I buy the lights w/o the service?
Somewhat. The lights can be purchased but in order to customize the lights to the location, we will need to install them. The service charge is included with the initial purchase. After that, you can take them down and store them yourself, but why mess with that hassle. You have already paid for the take down and storage for that year.
What if I want to stop or suspend the services?
If you decide to stop or suspend our services for the next season, we will deliver your storage bins to you the next season when called upon. We can also store them for a small storage fee instead of installation service. When you want to renew our services after a short break, just contact us. We would be glad to add you back on our schedule.
Do I have to turn the lights on /off?
No, we have automated timers that will turn on/off at specific time or set to turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn.
Where do you store the lights?
We store your lights in our secured, dry storage facility located just outside of Conway.
What if a light goes out?
Just contact us. That’s what out warranty is for.
